Early Head Start

EHS Room

Early Head Start (EHS) is a program that provides childcare and early education to eligible families with infants 6-weeks old until their 3rd birthday. More than just a daycare, children in EHS are nurtured in a safe, structured, and creative environment for children to develop physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally as they learn about the world around them. At the same time, their parents receive support to help them gain confidence in their parenting skills and assistance in navigating the complex world of available social services. With a ratio of 1 teacher for every 4 students, every child receives the level of individualized attention they need to blossom. For more information about the Early Head Start program, please visit the US Department of Education's Early Head Start page here

Our EHS program is provided at no cost to eligible families and is open year-round with limited closures for holidays and staff professional development.
