CIFC Website Privacy Statement

Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (“CIFC”) does not collect personally identifying information from users of this website (e.g., name, address, telephone number, or email address) unless such information is provided by the user or the user’s browser to fulfill user requests (e.g., request employment applications, make a complaint or recommendation, make a donation, or sign up for events).  Any information provided through the user’s use of this site will only be used to respond to direct inquiries, requests, or to measure traffic at this website.

CIFC will not be liable for disclosures of personal information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.  However, once CIFC receives your transmission, CIFC does its best to ensure its security on our systems by making reasonable efforts to protect the information.  In order to maintain users’ non-public personal information, CIFC maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

You can file a grievance in person or by mail, fax, or email. The grievance must be filed within 60 days of the date of the person filing the grievance becomes aware of the alleged discriminatory action.
