Danbury News-Times - Friday, January 5, 2018 - Senator Richard Blumenthal visits the Greater Danbury Community Health Center in Danbury to hear firsthand how Danbury children would be harmed should Congress fail to extend the Children's Health Insurance Program(CHIP); CHIP also goes by HUSKY B in the state of Connecticut.

“Even if you don’t have a heart and care only about your purse or wallet, you should care about CHIP," Senator Bumenthal remarked during his visit on Friday.

CHIP/Husky B is a federally supported program that covers more than 17,000 children from working, middle-income families in Connecticut.
