STATEMENT OF THE CONNECTICUT INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITIES (CIFC)     June, 2020

CIFC stands in solidarity with the African American and Black communities during this challenging time in our society, specifically in regard to the  COVID-19 pandemic and the call of the Black Lives Matter Movement.  CIFC recognizes that African-Americans are among the hardest hit by COVID-19. Also,  CIFC, as one of our core values,  strongly believes in the pursuit and recognition of human and civil rights.

We support the African American community as we all strive for a better tomorrow. We want our employees, clients,  housing residents, and patients, as well as the general public,  to know that CIFC  stands with the American people’s, and especially  the Danbury and Norwalk communities’,  peaceful demand for universal respect and fair treatment.
